• EN 13997:1999

  Protective gloves and sleeves with the EN 13997:1999 rating are tested for resistance to cutting by sharp objects like knives and glass. • EN 407:2020

  Gloves and other hand protective equipment with the EN 407:2020 rating are tested for protection against heat and/or fire, including resistance to flames, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, and splashes of molten metal. This means you can choose products with specific protection levels to safely handle hot items, work near flames, or in environments with thermal risks.

  Heat Contact Level 1

  This product provides short-term protection against contact with hot objects up to 100°C (212°F) for at least 15 seconds. It is ideal for brief handling of warm items in non-professional settings like home kitchens.

  Radiant Heat Level X

  This product has not been tested for protection against radiant heat, the invisible heat felt from a distance like near a furnace. Therefore, it does not have a certified performance level for this specific type of intense heat hazard.

  Metal Splash Resistance Level X

  This product has not been tested for resistance against splashes of molten metal under the EN 407 standard. It is not intended for use in activities like welding or foundry work where this specific protection is required.

  Molten Metal Resistance Level X

  This product was not tested for resistance against molten metal splashes under the EN 407 standard. Therefore, it is not intended for use in activities like welding or foundry work where this specific hazard is present.

  Burning Behaviour Level 4

  Offers the highest protection against catching fire when briefly touching a naked flame. The material resists burning and will extinguish itself almost immediately, giving you crucial time to react and stay safe from burns.

• EN 388:2016

  Protective gloves with the EN 388:2016 rating are tested for resistance against mechanical risks like abrasion, cuts, tears, punctures, and optional impact. This rating helps you quickly identify and choose gloves that offer the right level of protection for your hands during various tasks.

  Offers the highest level of protection against tearing, withstanding a strong force before ripping.

  Puncture Resistance Level 1

  Provides basic protection against punctures from blunt objects like splinters, not sharp points like needles.

  Cut Resistance, ISO 13997 Level B

  Offers low cut protection for general work, such as packaging and light assembly.

  Cut Resistance, Coup Test Level 3

  Offers moderate protection against cuts from materials like sheet metal and other sharp-edged objects.

  Abrasion Resistance Level 4

  Offers the highest level of protection against intense rubbing and wear from rough materials.

• CE Marking

  CE Marking is a label that shows a product meets certain safety and environmental standards set by the European Union. To get the CE Marking, a company must test and certify their product meets these standards. CE Marking is required for many products sold in the EU, including electronics, machinery, toys and medical devices. It helps ensure that products are safe for consumers and the environment, and allows for easy trade within the EU.

• Dermatologically Tested

  Dermatologically Tested refers to products that have been tested and proven to be safe for use on the skin. The European Union has regulations for cosmetics products, which includes dermatological testing, to ensure that products are safe for use. To be labeled as dermatologically tested, the product must be tested by a qualified professional, such as a dermatologist, and must not cause any irritation or allergic reactions. The testing must be carried out on a representative sample of human volunteers and the results must be evaluated by a qualified professional before the product can be considered as dermatologically tested and can bear the label. The EU Cosmetics Regulation, lays out the specific requirements for safety assessments and labeling of cosmetics products.

• Oeko-Tex Standard 100

  Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a product certification program for textiles, which is awarded by the Oeko-Tex Association. This program verifies that the textile products are free from harmful chemicals. To be able to use the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label, a product must meet certain requirements set by the Oeko-Tex Association which include limits on the levels of harmful substances such as pesticides, heavy metals, and formaldehyde. The textile products are inspected and certified by Oeko-Tex, they can use the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label on their packaging to show that they are free from harmful chemicals. This certification is for all types of textiles, from raw materials to finished products, and it is globally recognized.

• PPE Category 2

  PPE stands for "personal protective equipment." PPE Category 2 refers to equipment that is more complex, and has a higher level of risk. Examples of PPE Category 2 include safety helmets, ear protection, and fall arrest equipment. In Europe, PPE Category 2 must meet certain safety standards set by the European Union, which means that it must be designed and manufactured to protect the user without causing harm. Companies that make or sell PPE must prove that it meets these standards. They also must have a quality management system in place and have to be audited regularly by a notified body.
